Zachary Joseph Boudah is an emerging educational leader and scholar-practitioner with experience both in the classroom and in student support. He has served as an instructor, tutor, and Peer Mentor Program Manager in UConn’s Center for Access and Postsecondary Success, where he now works as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant.
In his hometown of Stonington, CT, Zach serves on the Board of Education as the youngest active public official in town — and the first Gen-Z member to hold the role. He was appointed to the Board of Education at age 21 and elected to a full four-year term on November 4th, 2025, at age 22. At just 20, he was elected Chairman of Stonington’s first-ever Ethics Commission.
While earning his B.A. in English at UConn, Zach served two terms as Student Body President at UConn–Avery Point, leading structural reforms, tripling student government membership, and helping launch the Husky Harvest Food Pantry. He became the first regional campus student to serve on the University Senate, where he authored and passed policies expanding representation for thousands of marginalized students. At the Connecticut General Assembly, he joined delegations, panels, and protests to advocate for increased state support for education.
